From March 4 to 7, 2025, VITIB participated in an official mission to San Diego, alongside the President of CESEC, H.E.M. Dr. Eugène Aka AOUÉLÉ, and the Ministry of Higher Education, to intensify cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and the United States in the fields of innovation, research, and technological entrepreneurship. This mission focused on .

Highlights of the mission

During this mission, several key moments marked the Ivorian commitment to innovation. A strategic partnership was concluded between San Diego State University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with active involvement from VITIB. This partnership aims to develop academic exchanges, foster collaborative research, and encourage skills transfer. VITIB also presented the numerous investment opportunities offered by the Grand-Bassam Technological Free Zone, attracting the interest of several American innovation players. Finally, promising discussions were initiated around the creation of centers of excellence for technological innovation, positioning Côte d'Ivoire as a key player in the digital transformation in Africa.
