The Ivorian-Indian cooperation is intensifying more and more, particularly in the ICT, health, agriculture, and mining sectors, and the VITIB company certainly does not intend to remain on the sidelines of this collaboration which dates back to the creation of the Free Zone for Biotechnology, Information and Communication Technologies (ZBTIC).

As part of the implementation of its 2024-2028 strategic plan, VITIB, led by its General Director, Mr. MEBETI DOSSO, organized a roadshow in New Delhi (India) on Wednesday, March 05, 2025, to mobilize Indian expertise and investments to develop a sustainable technological ecosystem in the VITIB technology park in Grand-Bassam.

This roadshow therefore saw the significant presence of H.E. Éric N’DRY, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire, who came with a strong representation of the said institution, as well as a hundred key Indian operators seasoned in high-tech professions, both in operations and in investments.

After video projections on the assets and wonders that our country, Côte d'Ivoire, abounds in, the General Director of VITIB, Mr. MEBETI, presented the business opportunities offered by VITIB to the assembly: 'India has been a solid and trusted partner in our approach to making VITIB a leading technology hub in Africa. With this roadshow, we invite Indian investors to join us in shaping the future of technology and innovation in Côte d'Ivoire. Côte d'Ivoire is at a turning point, and with the appropriate investments, we can accelerate our transformation into a major technology center in Africa.'

The interest shown by the operators present was heard through the multiplicity of questions coming from all corners of the room, leaving, of course, satisfied with the responses of the panelists composed of:

• Mr. Santoch, General Director of SKYLAB, Indian partner and co-organizer of the roadshow in India

Note that following this roadshow, VITIB (Village of Information and Biotechnology Technologies) began a series of meetings in India to promote the Grand-Bassam Free Zone to strengthen cooperation with key players in the sector in India and establish strategic partnerships, facilitating technology transfer, the development of local talents, and the acceleration of its digital transformation in Côte d'Ivoire and in the sub-region.
